Mistakes Happen

Nobody's perfect Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. - Thanos, Avengers: Infinity War Since this is an art blog, here is the artwork that caused all of the hubbub (I never get to use that word 😄) you're about to read. It's beautiful right? Source:  @_tillytheartist This past spring I was so excited to find a beautiful, ethereal rendition of Solange that I rushed to post it. I didn't research and assumed her Instagram handle would obviously start with @solange. Well, I posted it and then I received this comment😓 It may not seem that bad to you but I was mortified💀. Chibi-Chibi Bang-Bang

Hey big head😉 I don't run across many properly executed, black chibis on Instagram. Most of the time, I will see someone create a chibi with European features and then just shade it brown. That is not the same thing as an actual melanin-enriched art subject. So it's a real treat when @n43nae updates her page with new commissions. Here are 9 of her recent pieces: #1 Source: Instagram  @n43nae #2 Source: Instagram  @n43nae #3 Source: Instagram  @n43nae #4 Source: Instagram  @n43nae #5 Source: Instagram  @n43nae #6 Source: Instagram  @n43nae #7 Source: Instagram  @n43nae #8 Source: Instagram  @n43nae #9 Source: Instagram  @n43nae Do you have a favorite chibi style artist? Feeling Blue

One of my favorite aesthetics to see in art is vibrant, colorful hair. I put together a compilation of nine art subjects with blue hair. Hopefully, you discover an artist you didn't know about. Or if you're already in these art streets and know everyone listed, just enjoy a nice trip down memory lane. 1. Source: Instagram @gdbee 2. Source: Instagram @black_fenrir 3.
